It can be removed frm phone not apple server bccos if u do factory reset it will return back to icloud and u cant get to home screen..so the best is to keep using the phone like that incase u get the iphone that has icloud and is activated to home screen..as far u will won't do factory setting u will enjoy ur phone..the purpose of icloud is for back up and security..that is all
