Anyone with Compaq Presario C700 Recovery Disc, please i need it.

@Larriedeck is it vista or xp ? And by the day you cant get recovery disk for free without paying for it. well, you can get it from Hp website

well, most of HP and Compaqs machine have built in hidden recovery partition wich can be access by turning off the laptop back on again and repeatedly keep pressing F10 or F11 until you come to a recovery screen and follow on screen instruction, try this if it work then it means you save yourself money

u sure as hell wont get a free recovery disk from hp site but you can get the drivers for ur laptop there. go to my computer & find out if there's a recovery partition there that u can use.

can get drivers not sure if can get recovery disk. try what i suggested above

Bro, I just stumbled on this thread. I'm about to format my hp laptop and I dnt wanna lose my files and also I dnt have an external drive to back 'em up. Pls, help me here
