Verizon doesn't issue i9500. i9500 is the 3G variant, and doesn't have lte support, hence limited support from custom rom devs. But you can still check xda for available custom roms.

The phone is rooted and already installed a custom recovery. But i cant seem to flash a custom ROM in other to customize my setting. This is a screenshot of when i try to flash the custom rom in recovery mode. I cant seem to find the zip file i downloaded the ROM. Pls take a look at the pic and tell what am doing wrong. Thanks

Try Resurrection Remix ROM. Google it or look for YouTube videos of how it was done. I've been using my Galaxy Note II for over 3 years now and it's on Android 6.0.1

Your phone variant is Sch-1545, which is same as mine, so be careful and do not attempt to flash a i9500 rom or recovery on it again...
Development on this variant is limited, but u can get d most awesome experience with a custom rom like
Stang5litre's Ultra Note5..this is currently the best u can get right now, as it is one of the best available in xda forum for that variant. Incase u are in doubt, put off ur phone, while holding power, home & volume down button simultaneously, enter d download mode by pressing volume up wen u see d caution sign. There u will c d true variant. I also once thought mine was i9500 because its what i saw in d 'about phone'.

I can help you on that. It's not hard, plus you are not on custom recovery. Thats the default recovery that came with the phone. using will brick ur phone, there are a lot of custom roms for that s4. I have to warn you sha, be careful with using custom rom on s4 it can damage your EFS folder, thereby resulting in no network issue. I had to dump my s4 because of that. If you are intrested you can send me a pm, I will be willing to assist.

I really appreciate the response and help. In other for me not to brick my phone with different suggestions. I would appreciate it if I meet with anyone of u guys to help me install the custom ROM. I stay in lekki, Lagos.

Flash ROM
Then flash Android 6.0 GApps.
Wipe Cache.
Finally, wipe Delvik Cache

Hello engineers in the house, i am using a samsung s4 GT-i9500 android version 5.0.1. The problem with it is that it got stucked at the samsung logo when i wanted to boot it, n it starts restarting and would boot to home screen, so i decided to flash it with stock rom. I put it to download mode and i removed the battery (i know i was stupid der, pls don't blame me) and now its hard bricked, i can't put it to download mode or recovery mode. It doesnt boot at all, and when i plug it via USB, its nor recognised by my pc. Please amy solution to it

that's your stock recovery....you can't flash a Custom ROM with that...

if you are rooted you will need to flash a Custom recovery for your device (preferably TWRP) , then you can flash Custom ROMs easily when you boot into recovery ✅
