@miraclebaby,no mind me jor, but like seriously, I've not been to the hospital for any health challenge since 2002 cos I don't fall ill but 6months after marriage I became a regular face at the hospital, spending almost all my allowances on drugs every month etc, why I asked ayashow those questions is that 1. If you are not fully married or still courting, you might want to tke it easy with ttc, 2. If you are using traditional massagers they might convince you that you don't have a problem and that you shouldn't go to the hospital and infact some might tell you there is a baby in your womb, bring small money let them mix herb for you tht will make the baby develop fast, 3. If you are using prayer ministry, they might prophesy and tell you tht "if I be a man of god, 9months from today you will hear the cry of a baby" fast for 7 days, do mid night prayer nd your period will go on sabatical till you deliver like the hebrew woman! After you do all andyour period shows up on time for 3months nd you call them, allthey will say is "madam,your baby is intact, u saw blood doesn't mean there's no baby in your womb, you don't have faith" As if faith is a commodity that only them cn afford and they probably bought the last one on the counter, and before you know it time is going....all these contribute to why ppl don't seek medical attention on time....dts why I ask o! because ppl don't just sit down doing nothing except they are self medicating or just taking supplements.

@mandydaisy, my doctor told me chances of conception are higher after IVF, my friend had 1 failed ivf and 1 failed ICSI and then conceive naturally when she least expected, 2 other women who had failed IVF during her batch conceived naturally as well, if af went on awol you can ask your doctor to induce it so u cn commence with ur test asap....why did they recommended IVF initially?

I read it helps to tone the uterus and strenthen the uterine linning and also helps with cramps and heavvy meanstral flow, so am wondering, anyone heard or have used this herbal tea before anved good result? @darlene, red raspberry leaf tea is good for ttc just be sure it's not the slimming tea cos there was a time I looked for it every where and the one I found was for weight watchers, else you can use fertilitea, it contains red raspberry as well or twinnings product.

Ok, let me state what I did diff.was diagnosed with infection nd low sperm count. Use different antibiotics yet no success.
In July,I cryed unto God every midnite using Elisha Goodman's prayer points I got from the site.(2) used Oosa Herbal drugs,I nd Dh doubted their Computer test but maybe it worked anyway.(3) I used baye happy woman nd no Bding for d one month.(4) Dh took tiger nut juice everyday nd we ate lots of Fruits.
August,(1) midnite prayer esp on d Ist day with Dh (2) Oosa certified us ok to Bd.. and I used Baye one more time.(3) Had Esther 3 days fast b/4 and after Ov.
My dears,God Still Answers Prayers and Jehova Overdo will do it for everyone looking unto him for this gift in Jesus name Amen.

@miraclebaby thanks for the encouraging words. Really at a point all the tests we did in 2011 came out 'all clear' asin HSG, hormone profile and it was more of a waiting game. Now I no kon dey understand so when d doc ( a new one) actually asked for a retest I knew it was the right step.

To answer ur question my dear I'v also heard the chances are higher after failed ivf but make we still dey look cos it has even contributed to my frustration whenever I think about the emotions and money that went down the drain. Doctors should never be trusted 100 percent cos they ended up sweet talking me by saying well since everything is ok I don't see why Ivf won't work for you and because my blood dey hot for pikin na so I jump. And when it failed he started blaming the 5cm fibriod that he was so sure could never be a problem. Ehen doctor? Both experiences were very horrible because I had severe ohss because of too many follicles but it is well. Now this yeye af has travelled today making 38 days and bfn on pt, it's been 7 days since I stopped d med to help me jump start it but for where d tin face east.

Hello Ayashow. If you want to use luth and you don't have a referral all you need to do is, go to their out patient (third floor, A and E building), register there and ask to see a doctor. Make sure you are married for a year ooo. You will have a doctor to attend to you askcyou series of questions and from there he/she will give you a rrleferral note to the gynea unit on second or first floor. Pls go early.

I might not be too sure of the floors but pls go to A and E building and ask for out patient floor.

MamaTeniola, I know vones though I've neva used d place, I have a friend that had a bad experience there. She ttc for over a year and got pregnant. In b/w she noticed water discharge annd went there. Instead of them to suggest bringing out d baby and placing in incubator (pregnancy was over 6months gone), dey stitched d sac. To cut the story short, d baby died in d womb. Twas wen dey did evacuation @ another hosp she was told, Vones shld have brought out the baby and place in a incubator as it was already developed. Let's see if there are others who know/used the place.

@pcos cysters, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel for you! Rejoice for you are indeed mothers of nations! You might not be ovulating monthly but when you do, your chances of twins, triplet to nine o plet is very high...just keep your hope alive!

A woman who is not ovulating is less likely to achieve pregnancy, there are lots of reasons why a woman wouldn't ovulate, There are two main categories in that regard as it relates to your monthly cycle.

If your periods do not come at all, or they are more than 40 days apart, then there is a very good chance that you are not ovulating. There are also some women who appear to have regular periods but are still not ovulating.

@All...... Have your partners do Semen Analysis. Have you done any test for chlamydia infection? Ultrasound for PCOS.? Are you ovulating? How sure is your ovulation test...False Positive? Giving you impression you are ovulating when you are not. PCOS can give you false positive ovulation test.

My dear that 100k is a bait o, they have sweet mouth (like bus conductor) and by the time they got ur money in their hands they become so professional, u ask them plenty questions about your concerns dem go do face as if you don't have a right to know. He should add that 100k to improve something in his hospital abeg, God is still in the business of opening wombs!

Parsley tea dint work for me last time I tried it o, I ended up using this med that has now failed. Having AF delay for so long is the toughest part in this ttc journey cos when u should be moving on your kept on one spot waiting for her when normally you should be nearing another ovulation
