Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the

Probably one of the most common movie
mistakes is when a character’s outfit is
suddenly changed. That’s the case in Star
Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi when
Lando says “Go on, you pirate.” You’ll notice
his entire outfit that he has been wearing is
suddenly reversed.

Reservoir Dogs

Another great film, another fairly obvious
mistake. In the scene when Marvin Nash has
been brought to be tortured, his hands are
cuffed behind his back. They begin kicking
him and his hands are suddenly cuffed in
front of him. A little while later in the same
scene, his hands are once again cuffed
behind his back.

Gone With The Wind

Pulp Fiction


This is another pretty big mistake in another
big, popular film. Remember when the guys
are giving Mia that adrenaline shot? They
mark her chest with a red magic marker to
make sure they stab her in the right place.
Well, after she has been given the shot and
sits up, the red spot is no longer there.

The Wizard of Oz
How this wardrobe mistake got past we’ll never understand. There’s the scene where Dorothy and the Scarecrow are fighting with the trees and Scarecrow gets hit by a bunch of apples. Well, in the very next scene you get a quick glimpse of Dorothy’s shoes and she is not even wearing those ruby slippers but just a plain ol’ pair of black shoes. That’s like suddenly making Toto a German Shepherd.

GLADIATOR Talk about killing the suspension of disbelief that we are actually watching Russell Crowe riding a chariot…. In the Battle of Carthage scene in the Colosseum, one of the chariots gets turned over. When the dust finally settles you can clearly see a gas cylinder in the back of it.

Raiders of the Lost Ark
Another favorite movie with a pretty obvious mistake that no one caught. After Marion’s character supposedly dies in that truck explosion, Indy is seen drinking outside at a bar. If you watch the background extras to the left of him you can clearly see a man wearing a very modern T-shirt and jeans.

The Dark Knight Rises



We can see how this one got through
because many people can’t spell worth crap.
There is the scene in which Bruce Wayne is
researching the jewel thief and he’s reading
the newspaper. Look at the headline and
you’ll see the word “Heist” is spelled “Hiest.”

The Avengers
During the big battle scene with the Chitauri, Captain America is zapped with a blaster bolt. Thor helps him to his feet and we can see a lot of damage has happened to his suit, just below the star on the right hand side. A little later in the film, after Iron Man destroys the Chitauri ship with the nuke, the damage is completely gone.
