Why single out Ekweremadu ? Is there any among the four who didn't appear in his native attire ? [/quotpe]

Of course Saraki is putting on his native attire but not just today, its almost everyday n everywhere. Ekweremadu puts on suits most times.

Look at ekweremadu in Igbo native attire seeking to elicit sympathy and support from Igbos who have not benefited anything from him in his 8 years in NASS.

My brother I have been laughing here since oooo

This is the disgrace he wanted to avert by coming to the court premises with heavy security to harrass and chase away the media forgetting that social media have turned every Nigerian to a journalist.

Ekweremadu is a disgrace to the Nigerian political class. This man goes to the Senate everyday looking official in suits. Today in the dock, he has chosen to introduce ethnic and tribal sentiments into his trial by dorning a traditional Igbo attire. Very shameful and disgraceful. I'm sure Igbos did not send ekweremadu to the Senate to forge laid down rules and laws. In an attempt to save his skin and appeal to the ignorance and tribalism in most people, he has chosen this cowardly act.

There have been many senate sessions that Ekweremadu appeared in Igbo attire. He too has been very vocal in condemning the brutal murder of Igbo youths celebrating their Hero's day on may 30th. He also was vocal in condemning the killings in Enugu community by Fulani herdsman.
By the way,why single out Ekweremadu ? The four of them came in their respective native attires and you have attacked only DSP Ekweremadu.

Saraki is a bad guy to the extent that his siblings are not heard or seen supporting or fighting for his cause.

He really disgraced his father because he did not want any of his other siblings to also be part of the stealing spree in Kwara.

Good riddance to bad rubbish!

You kidding??.... Then you haven't been to most area in Ilorin... Lot of supporters for my side

Honestly I am disappointed in this Ekeremadu of a man; whipping up ethnic sentiment in this case may will not free him unless he puts up a robust defence showing why he is not guilty as charged. Anyway, it is the fault of Saraki due to his inordinate ambition and this a clear disservice to the ruling party. How can one explain a situation where Ekeremadu is part of ruling government and at the same time part of opposition - this is not funny but I know that this absurdity will change one day because when PDP was in power for 16 years they did not concede the position of Deputy Senate President to the opposition!

Whatever the outcome of this lastest arraignment of Saraki and co, one thing is certain, Saraki's political ambition for the office of the presidency is already in tatters. His political stock level is very negative - real bad market for any political party.

Twice within 3 months, he has been in the accused box of a law court.

I'm pretty sure he's not enjoying all these unnecessary attention.

Saraki is very very influential........ I don't think He can ever go to jail.....he knows "politics"........Wetin Buhari sev know for politics....retired general.....Buhari stl dey learn politics from Saraki hand.............As for Ekweremadu.......Only God.....i repeat Only God can save him

Do you seriously think Buhari has a hand in Saraki's travails?

I doubt very much that the President directly has a hand in Saraki's ordeal. Saraki has crossed swords with much more influential personalities within the APC political machinery than the President.

In my opinion, it is those people that are on his case and hell bent on removing him and not President Buhari.

I really wish these 2 gentlemen will put the integrity of the Senate before their personal ambitions and gracefully step aside, albeit temporarily, while pursuing their various cases in court.

I do not think it speaks well that the person of the Senate President and his deputy are been dragged before various courts almost on a daily basis. The Nigerian Senate has never had it this bad since 1999. What is worse is that the Senate is always shut down anyday he has to make an appearance in court because virtually all of the senate escorts him to court for "moral" support.

It is a big shame.

Sacred seats of power has been desecrated. Holders of such offices/seats should resign to preserve the sacredness of our exalted offices. Nigeria should at least be of more value than individuals. Somebody should tell them.
Sacred seat of power? What is sacred about National Assembly. Better put it as Irreverent seat of power. They have long lost their respect on the altar of corruption. Unholy Chamber with Mundane Occupants.
