Most peeps did not notice the street lights, solar powered traffic lights, let the water recede and u will see smooth roads.

I bet the drains have been blocked and also deeper drains need to be constructed, that uwasota-uwelu(spareparts) road was always an eyesore during rainy season (dunno if it's been fixed too)

But this flood is mind-buggling... oshio that conquered flooding from uniben to 5 junction to ring road that year? Na wa

Last week no road to Fed Court in Benin city seen lawyers with heavy bag and their shoes in their hand because of flooded foot path not road because we can't call that a road in that same Edo State where their governor is the best ever in the state. Ok nah we have seen it all now Oshio is really working he is working so hard cheesy

All of you insulting OSHIOMOLE are not nice @all. He actually did a wonderful job constructing good roads but he forgot to include drainage. He gave the drainage contract to invincible forces. Lolz.
Whenever I am leaving the house these days, I go with rubber sandal (not slippers cos rain can wash away slippers),shower cap, umbrella, and jacket. Ready for any benin change in weather or anything.

It pains me whole hearthedly that our Engineering compnies do not conduct research and submit proposals on how to effectivel manage flood. I'm off the opinion that proper chanelling of water tunnels will reduce the level of flod waters greatly.
