Uche Ogah would not be a Governor unless he is sworn in by the state CJ.With the appeal the Governor filed, I don't see that happening

The first step to be sworn in as a Gov. is for INEC to issue you a certificate of return. This is what he will take to the C.J to effect his swearing in. Moreover,until the court of appeal gives the order that the status quo be maintain until after her final judgement there is nothing the CJ or the present Gov. can do to stop Uche Ogah's swearing in. Also if Uche had been sworn in before the order of status quo is made he remain Gov until final judgement is delivered

The law states once an appeal is filed all actions will be suspended.Already the state CJ has refused to swear him in.He can keep the certificate of return in his house and be Governor in his home until the supreme court rules on this case.

Filing an appeal alone those not mean a judgement can't be executed. It is only a pronouncement by the court of competent jurisdiction that give a restraining order for stay of execution of the judgement.

If Ikpeazu can't procure a restraining order from the court to stop the execution of the judgement then he risk been the Gov. soonest.

Even the stay of execution can only be given to him by the judge that made the first judgement the he be removed.
