I got lost in thought as I remembered how a close friend of mine lost his dad recently despite the medical checkups and treatment received.

I also remembered how bitter and angry he sounded when he narrated about what the family went through cz of everything.

My mind drifts to a movie I watched way back; "In Time" in which Justin Timberlake lived in a future where time is money and the wealthy can live forever. He was a poor man who rarely has more than a day's worth of life on his time clock, and when he saved someone, he receives the gift of a century.

So, I think about the situations and happenings in Nigeria...the health issues, accidents, deaths...and even for the critical situations, I know it ain't easy for the average person to fly their loved ones abroad for surgery.

Hypothetically, if someone could really buy time, what could it be worth?

I guess we will never know. I thank God for making it different from that movie.
