District 9 is an okay movie about aliens in SA but Nigerians were ridiculed in the movie. Personally i am really getting ith the negative portrayal of nigerians in western movies. we are slowly turning to the african joke. would u believe that silverbird had the balls to air this movie. it is really time to take affirmative action. We were depicted in an extremely disgusting manner in the movie. I cannt see Hollywood making fun of the chinese ,russians, kenyans in this manner. I really believe something should be done before things get out of hand. Boycott or open letter?

Ur views are sincerelly appreciated

There is an existing thread on this issue.

And District 9 is not an ok movie, it was awesome. Refreshing.
As for the issue. . .truth hurts grin We do worse things. . .
It's just sad that a whole nation gets colored by the same pen because of some bad eggs.

Boycott? Rofl, lets start with our own problems first.
