Parenting have been quite a demanding and an uneasy task since time immemorial.Parents strive to raise up their kids to be upright and to be the best among their peers. In this part of the world the style of parenting takes a different dimension stemming up from the fact that we have a different and unique culture. Many parents on the mission of raising u their kids to be socially appreciated and acceptable have failed maybe due to ignorance of some of the etiquettes of raising up a lad. Bringing up a child is synonymous to nursing a plant while it grows.
One shouldn't expect a plant to grow and develop fully well if a parameter isn't observed which is,one shouldn't expect a crop to grow,mature and develop fully well without weeding the crop and adding manure to the crop to supply nutrients aiding the crop to grow and develop fully well. Take your child to be the plant and the weeds to be bad friends who will influence your child negatively, if you don't weed this bad friends out of his life,he might be influenced by them which will lead him to his destruction. The manure which you add to the plant (still your child) should be moral behaviour and discipline which stretches out to affect other areas of his life positively.
Now,I talked about parents observing the etiquettes of bringing up a child earlier in this write up. Let us look at them;
CRITICISM : If a child lives with criticism, he learns to condemn. Parents should watch it and be careful with the way they criticise a child.
APPROBATION :If a child lives with praise,he learns to appreciate. Parents should be hearty at approbation and lavish at praise.
HOSTILITY : If a child lives with hostility,he learns to fight. Parents being hostile to their child doesn't pay off quite well.
TOLERANCE :If a child learns with tolerance,he learns to be patient.
RIDUCLE : If a child leaves with ridicule, he learns to be shy. Riducling a child can affect his self-esteem negatively on the long run,parents please watch it.
ENCOURAGEMENT : If a child lives with encouragement, he learns confidence.
SHAME : If a child lives witjshame,he learns to feel guilty.
FAIRNESS: If a child lives with fairness, he learns justice.
SECURITY : If a child lives with securitu ,he learns to have faith.
ACCEPTANCE AND FRIENDSHIP: If a child Iives with acceptance and friendship, he learns to find love in the world.
APPROVAL : If a child lives with approval, he learns to like himself.
