IN SHORT. I KNOW A GOOD BOOK WHEN I SEE ONE!So, on this thread We will sensitize ourselves on life changing or impacting books we must all read or want others to read. And what happens if you have a difficulty buying it ,never mind because I can Only be a phone call away,

Have You Read ,Think ang Grow Rich by Napoleon Hills? If not you don't know what you are missing pick a copy at any bookshop-it's popular book and it won't cost you more than N500 anywhere.

Novels by ARTHUR HAILEY are very educative, entertaining and thoroughly researched. They are not easily obtained in bookshops in Lagos.
Maybe you can assist me in searching for where to obtain them.
His books are a MUST read for all lovers of knowledge. I have read these ones - The Money Changers, In High Places, Hotel, Overload, Wheels, Strong Medicine, Flight into Danger and The Final Diagnosis.

He is the best novelist I have encountered - and I have read hundreds of thousands of books.

well for me its ATLAS SHRUGGED BY AYN RAND, very philosophical and gets down o the nitty gritty of everything in life, I had a copy but it was so good it got eaten by termites!, Anyone know how i can get another copy, e- or othrwise?

P.s it was voted the second most influential book after the bible in the lif of it's readers!

All James Michener books,old and revised,they're all thought provoking and informative.

I'm glad to see James Michner here; I read " The Source" about 15 years ago, and have recently purchased a copy. Very deep and thought provoking book, even though its fiction.
Also recently read "The Wolves" by H H Kirst. (another one of the ol books that I found dusty in an uncle's home, 10-15 years ago)

Guys ! nice to know the site we all created together is doing great.I ended my IT 3 wks ago, and i am back in my state - nevertheless, the quality you get wont reduce one inch.

FEDDIE GIRL by Nona David is a must read!!!!!!

It's about am American babe that get's sent to a Federal (boarding) School in Naija and all the adventures and experiences she had.
This book is hilarious!!! You will laugh, cry, nod your head, yell with excitement, etc,

You will think you're right there with the characters experiencing everything with them. it's so believable. The author did a marvelous job.
You seriously need to read this book.
