The grace of God
By the reason of the very topic, i do pray we receive the grace of God in our lives in Jesus name.

As we Christians say often times, it's by God's grace. There's this urge and desire we might something have to fully grab its concept but one way or the other ignorant of and there's been an error out there to the topic of grace.
The need of clarity and understanding is what this post aims at.

Grace;
Grace has teachings, grace has doctrines and grace has instructions; Just as medical prescribed drugs has instructions for its intake.
And the bible has been provided to us as it's manual by which we are thought on how to live in this present world.

The definition and operations of divine grace
Ephesians 2 v 8,9
Grace is the kindness of God towards an unmerited man.
It is the goodness of God towards sinners.
The help of God to those who will serve Him(Desire to serve Him and to make heaven)
Grace is the enablement of God toward an helpless man.
His pardon for sinners.
It is the riches of God in Christ Jesus
Isaiah 65 v 1, Romans 5 v 6-8, Philippians 2 v 13
For it is but God who worketh in all man to will amd to do; 1 Samuel 15 v 17, Ephesians 3 v 8, Exodus 33 v 12-17.
There's need to note that grace for service is different from grace for eternal life. The visions, prophecy, and revelations to people are for service, as we may think but the word says the gift of God is without repentance; But that portion refers to the grace for service.

Grace and truth
John 1 v 17, John 17 v 17, Titus 2 v 11
Grace points the way to eternal life, truth is the way to eternal life.
Grace has a book which is the bible(The truth), without truth grace is nothing.
Grace teaches us to deny worldliness and ungodliness, things to leave behind and things to hold on to. Matthew 28 v 18-20
Grace brought teachings and not alone, it's the truth that gives eternal life and not grace, grace is the the companion of truth, it is the help meet.
Grace is equally needed as truth.

What will grace do?
Grace will enlighten your mind to the truth and show you ways it can be done.
Grace seasons on truth, like salt to food.
Grace removes fear and dreadfulness of truth, so we can approach truth boldly.
It strengthens the heart to do the truth.
Grace supplies what is required to obey and do the truth.
Grace defeats the enemy of truth to cause the truth to prevail.
Grace goes out to touch the hearts of men for you and goes out to prepare the future.
Grace escorts you in the path of truth to your destination. Galatians 2 v 21.

Truth and love
2 John 1 v 1-2
Love gives peace for the truth to prosper.
Love is the truth made practical
Love is the tyre for the vehicle of truth.
With truth in us and we don't practice love everything is frustrated. Love is the reason for truth 1 Timothy 1 v 5.
Why do God say we must live in peace, follow peace with all men? It is for love to flourish. Truth without love is but a vehicle without tyre.
Love gives truth its efficacy. It is the evidence of truth which Christ said; a new commandment have i given unto you that you love as i have love the church 1 John 4 v 18.
Love gives glory to the evidence of truth, it gives courage and boldness to the bearers and preachers of truth.
And the fullness of all is that Love is God, God is love!
He loves the righteous, loves the sinners and the backsliders and wants them to come to repentance. 1 John 4 v 7-8, 1 Corinthians 13 v 4-8.

Conclusion:
1. Grace gives us the calling
2. Truth shows us the commandments to observe for entry into heaven
3. Love is the life that qualifies for heaven.

Hebrew 4 v 16
The throne of God is the throne of grace, may we receive mercy and obtain His grace in Jesus name. Amen

This is the first thread I've come across which made it to FP without a single comment. Well, no need to raise hell, it's worth it, a very beautiful post that could pass for a Sunday sermon, as it were. [yes I am biased to the right, goan report me to ur class captain]
To the topic, grace is one of the most abused and over applied Christian doctrines. We deliberately do things which we know to be wrong, thereafter clinging to grace for bail out. But "shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?".
I'm guilty of this too, Lord have mercy.

Grace is also one line I use in putting the 'holier than though' Christian brethren in check whenever they begin to go off about their right standing and my seeming 'less than righteous' life.
"by grace are ye saved, not by works , lest any man should boast"

Observing

In Romans 5:2, the law was given to show us that we are sinful

But the grace of God was given to turn us to God (Ephesians 2:8-10). Clearly, the Grace of God was not given so that we could merely learn about the concept of grace. Understanding grace is important but that alone will never change a life unless we move from the knowledge and understanding of grace to the application of grace. We often know what to do, but we just don’t do it. The benefit comes from the application. Application makes all the difference.

I really don't understand what people mean by grace of "God".... look its either hard work pays you or you are just fvcking lucky. There is no such thing as the grace of "God".

Grace is a total package. The grace for eternal life is not different from the grace for service. Grace is grace.

True, but this grace points us to the truth which the posts points to, without that truth none would then be saved, if one doth not abide in the truth grace is given for he/she frustrates the grace hence no one will make it by said grace without living the truth.

This is where we should not boast because the grace has been provided for all, that I'm better today doesn't necessarily mean i am above in the hierarchy of God. Hence we weigh every man's spiritual stance with God by their fruit, sincere we must not judge by appearance.

Grace is a total package because it has been given to us all, it's very well true. But that i am able dream to dreams and come to pass and see vision, heal the sick doesn't mean am qualified for heaven as those are but by the grace of God but not of my own. Making heaven makes clear that our personal life and our fruit of yielding to the truth is what make us make heaven. After the whole gifts to serve in those aspects i mentioned then having a besetting sin will then rule one out.

Yes you're right about God using him in his vineyard, as i regard him in the like of the respect i have for pastor Kumuyi who stick the the doctrine of truth dishing the message of holiness. Hardly will you find men of God out there who still preach truth without sugarcoating it.

Mmmm, the doctrine salvation and repentance is slowly dying amongst Christians today because the preachers are lovers of the world.
