Indications emerged today that the amiable governor of Ondo state has finally bowed to pressure to decamp to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Dr. Mimiko, a man of immense intelligence, courage and political sagacity who has been in mainstream politics in the South West for over 25 years. Analyst have explained that this Governor dubbed "Iroko" by admirers possess promiscous tendencies and he has demonstrated this in the past by dumping the late Chief Ajasin, Late Chief Adefarati and Dr Segun Agagu.

Feelers from Akure, Ondo state capital disclosed that the brilliant governor has known that he may not achieve the feat of Governor Fashola in Ondo state unless he decamps to the PDP. Another caculation is that PDP would do everything possible to rig the elections in Ondo state come 2013, this is why the Iroko of Ondo state politics may be decamping to the largest political party in Nigeria.

But is military government different from a one party democracy? Why is the PDP bent on pressurising all political office holders to decamp to its party.

Meanwhile, Can somebody in the house confirm Dr. Mimiko has decamped to PDP.

if he does not decamp he will not ve it easy going for 2nd term that why they all decamp

But just because someone decamps to another party doesn't mean they shouldn't perform well for their state.

They SAY amaechi is doing well for his state, why cant others in pdp follow?
