Scores of persons were feared dead on Saturdaymorning in a fresh attack on parts of Chambe and Anawah settlements, at Gaambe-Tiev, in Logo Local Government Area of Benue State, by suspected herdsmen. According to reports, the armed herdsmen stormed the villages, singing war songs, shooting sporadically and torching houses, huts and food barns in the affected communities.

Nigerians have taken to twitter to pour out their minds on the grueling issue.

It's high time every Nigerian speaks out against the genocide currently going on in benue and other parts of the middle belt!! These killings must be stopped

Enough is indeed enough.

"If you fail to speak up about government's failure as regards the Benue massacre because all you care for is Buhari's image, Then you're an enemy of the people" «« This message is for Buhari zombie followers.

Another country will lose 3 or 2 people, and Buhari will send condolence message to them, but Nigeria will lose dozens of lives, and Buhari will keep quiet because the perpetrators are his brothers.

Yes, You're right.

But when one speaks out, some people (zombies) will say the person is speaking against their president, They will call him a wailer, Nonetheless, I'll rather be a wailer than a zombie.

These were the same set of fools who insulted Fayose for setting up vigilante groups to prevent and forestall herdsmen attack.

Are some lives more valuable than others?

When it comes to inanimate things like oil pipelines and well heads, the FG will release a statement and order soldiers to respond.

The life of Nigerians is worth more than the blood oil money you people share in Abuja

Where is omenka?

There are Igbos & Yorubas on nairaland that support Buhari but if there is any fulani herdsmen attack anywhere in Igboland or Yorubaland, those supporters don't waste time to condemn the herdsmen because at that point, the lives of their people is much more important than whatever support of loyalty they have for Buhari.

Now take a look at omenka, despite all the atrocities meted on Benue people by the demonic fulani herdsmen, omenka will never condemn them just because of his love for his sai baba.

How low can a someone sink? That your love for your sai baba herdsman president is more important to you than the hundreds of lives being wasted daily by the fulani herdsmen.

Tufiakwa!

omenka type of sai baba is out of this world I tell you.

I have just a little(very little) sympathy for Benue ppl.U know why?
Fulani has been killing them and other middle belters esp Plateau,Nassarawa and southern Kaduna from time immemorial and Buhari is d life patron of d herdsmen, yet, they voted for this same Buhari who has never made a sentence of condemnation abt all the killings.(Buhari won in Benue)
Can anybody deny d fact that d killings by herdsmen has increased in frequency and boldness since Buhari took over?
Buhari must rule for 8yrs so that Nigerians who already knew that he had nothing to offer(we all heard hw he failed all his military exams therefore having no FSS,PSC attached to his name,no WAEC,did not improve himself like Gowon,OBJ them who went back to school) yet voted him in cos of tribal and religious sentiments will enjoy this 'change',after all,PDP is likely to field another northerner in 2019.
Ogwula ka oha m n'onu.

Let's say it as it is. Genocide.

These benue killings aren't just Fulani herdsmen vs farmers but becoming systemic ethnic cleansing.

Can anyone convincingly claim we have a serious and sincere govt in this country

There is something very dangerous going on in the Buhari presidency which must be pointed out.

Buhari does not give a damn about people from the MB or Southerners.

The rampaging demonic herdsmen have been going about destyroying the means of livelihood, raping women, killing people in droves and sacking communities of the MB & South and what has this government done? let us take a short journey into what this govenment thinks about the invading herdsmen:

(1) Why we can’t stop influx of non-Nigerian herdsmen — FG

The Federal Government yesterday gave the ECOWAS Transhumance Protocol as a reason why non-citizens of Nigeria are still allowed to graze their cattle across the country.
It has been established that many herdsmen who are involved in clashes in Nigerian villages are not Nigerians.
The ECOWAS Transhumance Protocol, the government stated, has given the right of free movement to citizens of member countries.
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh, who disclosed this at the opening of a two-day Stakeholders’ Consultative Forum on Grazing Reserves and Stock Routes in Abuja on Thursday, told journalists that the law is similar to the fundamental right to freedom of movement in the Nigerian constitution.
Chief Ogbeh said: “The Nigerian constitution has given every citizen the fundamental right to freedom of movement in search of legitimate businesses; transhumance pastoralism is seen along these lines.

See more here:

Meanwhile this government has deployed the military to kill cattle rustlers. Rustlers are those that steal cattle from the herdsmen. This government is more interested in protecting cattle of the Fulani herdsmen than preventing women from the MB & South from being raped, people killed and farms devastated by fulani cattle.

(2) We will not use military force against Fulani herdsmen – FG

The Federal Government has ruled out the use of military might to subdue the attacking force of rampaging Fulani herdsmen.
Minister of Interior, Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau, retd, while featuring on a Channels Television programme, “Question Times” on Sunday night said deployment of the military to combat the Fulani herdsmen menace was not an option because, the situation has not overwhelmed the police yet.
According to the Minister, “We must protect the country which is the main function of the police. The Civil Defence are there to complement them too.
“This is a non-military issue that borders on law and order. It is not every security issue that you call in the military. It is the responsibility of the police to maintain peace. I believe that if we put the police in proper position in terms of discharging its functions, then there would be no need for military option. The police are equal to the task. If you have to deploy the army, then you are going above board. In any case, I do not even have the power to deploy the military for anything. It is only when the situation gets out of hand that you invite the military.”
Recall that Fulani herdsmen have in recent past attacked several villages across the country, killing scores of people.

Meanwhile, the same government has deployed the military against unarmed protesters in the SE. They have killed several unarmed Igbo youth including ladies.

(3) Herdsmen killing Nigerians are from Libya – Buhari

President Muhammdu Buhari has stated that herdsmen involved in the killing of Nigerians are non-Nigerians who came from Libya.
Speaking yesterday in London, Buhari said Ghadaffi, during his 43 year-regime, trained some people from the Sahel militarily.

Stop saying we should speak out. We have been speaking out and the genocide continued.

What we need now more than ever is action. Declare war on any fulani man in your state period.

You saw what happened in Enugu state, the people have come out to say NEVER AGAIN. No fulani man will enter that village in Enugu state in a 100 years.

Don't tell me to speak out again. You know what to do.

That's what you get when vote a herdsman as your president calling it change.

For Ekiti people, don't support the fight against your gov. Fayose in name of fighting corruption because you won't blame anybody when #Ekitimassacre start trending once he is forced out.

Fulani caste system:

*Cattle owners ( Emirs, elites, retired generals)
*Security operatives (officers embedded within military, DSS, police)
*Militia wing ( Ak47 wielding 'herdsmen')
*Herdsmen (Cattle herders/rearers)
