Don't forget schools like OAU, UI is the choice of the very best. So it is only natural they record more 1st class, especially in Engineering.

See, my cousin is very skillful and very knowledgeable in his field that he has been working in for 5 years now. he has even trained many certificate-claimed engineers in the field. Go and find another opportunity and stop wasting time in futility, even if you succeed in getting a "looking genuine" false certificate. What happens to you when your employer goes to verify from the said school you claimed to have graduated from. You would be found to be a fake and can be incacerated in prison by the police and after been fired.

bro i been suffer for that school no be small. My cgpa dropped to 1.5 due to the wicked set of lecturers we had in history and international studies. I failed FLF210 thrice.

One of d most complex dept in that school is CHEMISTRY. I remember many years ago, we offer a borrowed course - FRENCH 101 in our year 3, we recorded abt 70% pass but our H.O.D rejected d result and intimated that lecturer to go and reduce it, because it is impossible for us to pass like that. The man was extremely angry, took d result and kept it in their dept shelve until second semester ending that it was release with enough failure. Because there was no other option that to reduce marks before it can be accepted by the H.O.D.

Its worse jare... Thats my school. Imagine 94 students failing in elect elect. The worse is Agric/Food Engineering(my department). University of Uyo will not kill us. How do they expect to graduate a first class in engineering with this kinda result. We just saw this one today sef.

if you attended any federal University,then you will know that there are some courses that you just can't pass, and the point is so you can block the course, not for an A but a C,some lecturers have this mini god entitlement when it comes to their course

Now I know Uniuyo is a failed school. Futo Senate will never approve a result like this.

what is the logic behind it? Are you telling the school they admitted majority unqualified students or what? Students that scaled through the admission process is expected to pass every course in the majority. If the reverse is the case then it is either the lecturer didn't teach or he didn't set what he taught in the exam. Either way the fault is his.

You don't know what you are saying. I went through Futo, my school shun out first class like every normal school, but I know very well our students are not smarter than those in state uni, it is the school structure and system that made it happen.

What do you expect from an exam where one is expected to use several charts ,steam tables, humidity chart.. interpolate if need be.
