as always, naija 'stars'...always excessively full of themselves. empress should be ashamed of herself. a tv figure who can't polish her spoken English.....see the imp claiming 4am was the reason she couldn't write her English correctly!!!! ooooh!! I never knew the ability to speak good English was time based. lol @empress.
Abeg sharap. Not everyone had the opportunity to be properly educated. Its however, not ur right or the right of anyone to launch personal attacks based on something as flimsy as grammatical errors.

When you want to correct someone especially an adult, be careful not to exude some subtle or obvious disrespect to the person, so your intent on correcting the person won't be counter productive. That was the mistake the obviously immodest and cocky fan of empress made. angry

English language is not our great grand fathers' own; we all learnt it from our colonial masters. Don't be surprised, even the Britons who colonised us made mistakes too, no one is perfect. I think the lady should have sent her a private message directly into her box where no one can see and it would have saved her the insult she got, instead of correcting her in order to ridicule her. Even the corrector, has she never made blunders in speaking or writing English? People can be so daft in the mode of disseminating information at times. She deserves what she got.
I see you are very wise and intelligent, you correct some one by sending them a message to their private inbox not every body reason that way because they are just like them, ask me what is them?

Nobody is perfect, the ability to accept ur mistake&correct it is what differentiate you from others. If only empress has accepted her mistake and move on,there would have being no need for another round or argument, instead of arguing with her fan. She shldnt forget the fans made her because without them she would have been unknown.
I rest my case.

Even the lady forming grammarian

it should be "It is" and not it's

and i am sure she double-checked to ensure she herself did not commit blunders, and with all her checks, see her life.

Something as flimsy as grammatical error? Come and write the GMAT, IELTS, TOEFL or the GRE, then you would know grammatical errors aren't as flimsy as you suggest. A wrong grammar can convey an unintended meaning. Whatever is worth doing is worth doing well..
