According to Odior Oshioke who shared the pictures on twitter, the man reportedly stole a laptop which made him get the beating of his life. His lifeless body was spotted lying in the middle of the road on Admiralty way, Lekki Phase 1 -as residents await for arrival of the authorities.

OP, if all you got are these pictures, it means your heading is wrong and the boy is still alive.

If you look at the two pictures keenly, you will notice that, the events in the first picture where he is lying on the road as if he is dead occurred before the events on the second picture, where he is sitting down on the grass in the middle of the road.

Some clues on which of both pictures occurs first...isolate everyone that appeared on both pictures, you will noticed that, they had a keen interest and attraction towards to scene i.e. natural human curiosity aka Lagos busybody...but on the second picture, that curiosity seen to have faded and most of them have even turned away from what first draw their attention there..
