Programme Requirements

Minimum Qualification:

Applicants should have a minimum of second class upper degree (in Education) or B.SC/B.A with a P.G.D.E qualification in the following fields; PE, Mathematics, English, Art, French , Special Education Needs, Music, Speech Therapist.
Relevant Work Experience:
Preferably not more than 1 year post NYSC experience
Age Range: 22-30 years

Required Competency and Work Skills:

Excellent oral and written communication skills
Positive attitude
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong ethical and moral standards
Dedicated and diligent
Excellent Professional appearance

Greensprings school Lekki just sacked nothing less than 15 members of staff for no just reason. There is no job security there. Teachers contracts are usually renewed every year. They may say they do not want you again after just a year. Sometimes, they would rather take in corp members as associate teachers/ assistant teachers rather than employ regular staff members. Benefits? I doubt! Imagine coming to the end ofthe session after working so hard and getting a sack letter as a "thank you". This long holiday is gonna be so sad for the sacked teachers. I know a number of teachers that ran away before they were shown the exit. A school where pupils can terminate a teacher's employment if they do not like you. Well, I will confirm if the sacked teachers were compensated though but I seriously doubt that.

This is extremely sad! I'll be glad if you can confirm if they were paid any benefits. How on earth can organisation treats its staff like this? Morale will always be low because you know you can be sacked at any time.

Exactly! Every teacher there knows continuity is not gauranteed so they are usually tensed up towards the end of each session.

Straight bus from Ojuelegba to Anthony Under Bridge (Not sure of the name of the bus stop)... The school is behind Niger Insurance. Once you alight the bus, walk to the school.
