The leadership crises rocking the Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, Ile-Ife may have been laid to rest as the Senate of the Institution nominated Professor Anthony Elujoba as the Acting Vice Chancellor of the University.



This followed the directive of President Muhammadu Buhari as a result of several allegations of corruption levelled against the immediate past Vice Chancellor, Professor Bamitale Omole and his Successor, Professor Ayobami Salami.

Radio Nigeria Correspondent, reports that Professor Elujoba from the faculty of Pharmacy defeated Professor Abayomi Laminkanra of the Same faculty in an election contest with 251 to 5 votes.
