That ship has sailed; his removal will remain a mere wish. The APC needs to tread with caution, lest they plunge the Senate into chaos.
Baba leave mata for Mathias. They'd bring back the damn ship to the harbour and anchor it, and nothing, I repeat, nothing, will happen.

Only one thing that will interest me in 2019 election is the Senate standing order. I am patiently looking forward to it.

Nigeria youths has a long way to go with all this comments. How long will the senators continue fighting for positions,is that why they were elected?

Ekweremadu must GO before Saraki can dialogue with APC and I am sure Saraki will trade him ...........Considering he could use him to win back the North-Western alliance

The senate is PDP and PDP is the senate.

Ekweremadu remains DSP and there is nothing the Afonjas can do about it.

The truth is that the Afonjas are the real enemies of Igbos and not the Hausas so i advise Igbos to be careful of such bitter souls.

Ekweremadu and PDP trying to reap from where they didn't sow.

To those calling for the heads of the APC leaders, can they mention at any time in the history of this 16 years democracy when PDP had allowed the opposition to occupy the position of a CHIEF WHIP in both chambers let alone Deputy Senate President?

So PDP now knows how it feels to be out of power completely.

Unfortunately, the Igbos don't even have anything meaningful to show for Ekweremadu's occupation of the DSP for the 9th year running, I thought as the head of the Constitutional ammendment committee, he could have pressured the Senate on the need for the 6th state in the SE bit no!!!

Nigerian journalism is dead. So much fake, speculative and disjointed stories supported by "all efforts to reach Xyz proved abortive as our phone calls and text messages were neither answered nor replied."

This story just feeds off ethnic and party differences. Zero content.

You don't seem to like the Biafrans and yet do not want them to have independence.

What will you lose if they leave Nigeria?

Not even a single like from this nonesence u just wrote here. Instead of recommending ways we could move forward as a country u are here talking like a child that still suck breast. Shame on people like u. If president buhari fails the senate both APC n PDP has failed. So wheather ekweremadu is removed or not this govt has failed us

Let me tell you one bitter truth, Where Nigeria politics is at now and where its heading to is an ethnoreligious politics. Forget the hardship people re facing, when 2019 is here, You will see..........The 95% vs 5% game-play will happen again. APC or PDP, Both will capitalize on that play......

A research on Nairaland comments will buttress my points. Nigerians dont really care about your productivity any-longer if you re on there side.

Sorry APC chiefs keep dreaming. You do not have the numbers to remove Saraki.Even asking Saraki to remove Ekweremadu is ridiculous,Even if Sraki wanted, there is no way he can remove him.
Am sure you don't know what the power that be can do, The party will put pressure on the President and Saraki and Ekweremadu will be removed by court cos of their forgery case.. APC is just being lenient with Ekweremadu cos of Saraki who happen to be an APC and the role he play during the electioneering but if Saraki insist on Ekweremadu, They are going down together.

And of course APC reaped where they sowed when Tambuwal became an opposition Speaker of the house of reps. We Nigerians should be ashamed of ourselves when we make certain statements. We must identify what really is our problem. You want us to join you in fighting the senate leadership fight, when you have not asked yourself why they are more concerned about the leadership positions than the primary assingment they went there to do.
As for me....PDP, APC,APGA, LP all of them are all the same, History has shown us that a good politician comes from individual quality and not party affiliations.
And to talk about 16yrs of PDP wasteful and unproductive Government like many will say...
Why do you want to cover an obvious truth, when ..Nuhu Ribadu, Rotimu Amechi, George Akume, Bernabas Gemade, Samuel Ortom, Aminu Tambuwal, Bukola Saraki to mention but a few are part of the purported 16yrs of waste. Suddenly they have become saints. If we do not get rid of ethnic, religious and party bigotry, hypocrisy ,we will never get it right. You think it's about PDP and APC, North or south
Meanwhile we languish in suffering and j employment, while they deceive and are unified in common looting of our treasury.

We are being deceived, wake up

removing the DSP is just a stepping stone to removing Saraki. if Saraki goes now, there is a 60-40 chance that Ekweremadu becomes SP, APC can't take that risk. but if they can remove the DSP & install a loyal SUF member, Sakari is a goner. however, the Senate won't also know peace.
Been that way, Tambuwal decamped to APC as a sitting Speaker & didn't lose his seat. so what's the hullabaloo about? in Benue, the speaker is an APC member in an assembly with PDP as majority (though slight).
rather than been petulant about Ekweremadu, they should have used it to showcase their democratic credentials & their ability to accommodate.

Wow. 100 marks.

Today is Sunday, else I would've shown you the comments of Lai Mohmd, Buhari and APC superstars hailing Tambuwal for a hatchet perfectly executed..

.. I will be praying for Nigeria today as always.
