In a tweet posted on it's Twitter page, the PDP has threatened to go ahead with its proposed National Convention in August damning the court order restraining it from doing so. the tweet reads " Give Sheriff a thousand orders,our convention Cannot be Stopped – PDP Dares Abang"

Hence making Abuja FHC to stand and reinstate the sheriff chairmancy

They didn't criticise the PHC High court for entertaining a case that a court of coordinate jurisdiction has earlier given a judgment which has consequence for the reliefs being sought at the PHC court.

They won't see that. It is only Justice Okon's judgment which relies on the initial Lagos Federal High court judgement they will be criticising.

Justice Okon's judgment relies on the foundation of the initial Federal High Court in Lagos judgement, which is still subsisting and yet to be vacated by an apellate court.

It is the Port Harcourt judgement that is an anomaly.

Simple matter.

A court of coordinate and competent jurisdiction has given a ruling in favour of the legality of the PDP Caretaker Committee.

If some devious elements decided to procure a dubious interlocutory injunction via another court of parallel jurisdiction, the practical thing to do is to maintain the status quo ante, which is to default to the current state of things till a superior court adjudicates on the matter.
