In the early hours of Thursday, 28th of July Nigerian actors and actresses, under the aegis of the Actors Guild of Nigeria and the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) marched through the streets of Abuja to create awareness for the ongoing war against trafficking in persons and commemorate the world day against trafficking in persons by the UN on the 30th July. Notable actors and actresses like the Nollywood first, kenneth Okonkwo, Tonto Dikeh, Charles Awurum, Uche Ogbodo, Emeka Rollars, Onwurah Agility, Sidney Diala and a host of NAPTIP officials graced the march. I read here on Nairaland days back how a goat delivered of a human like goat as a result of animal trafficking. Cant they protest on ANIMAL TRAFFICKING too? |
