Following the need to sensitize the Niger Delta Region of all economic and social vices, the Niger Delta Youth Movement in its capacity inaugurated Major Frank Ekene as the regional chairman of Niger Delta Youth Movement Orashi Region.

Major Frank Ekene reiterated his zeal to work with all sons and daughters of the region to bring peace and stability back to the region, in his speech he urges the youth of Niger Delta to embrace peace and work hand-to-hand with the Government in ensuring that the anticipated development of the Niger delta will become a reality. Urging the multi national oil companies in the region to embrace dialogue in all their dealings with their host communities.

Major Frank Ekene also expressed his interest to see to that all youths of the region are up and doing, suggesting a skill program for youths in the Niger Delta, that will impart their lives positive and equip them with self reliant skills.

he ensured the general public that he will use the capacity of his office to streamline violence and the sabotage of oil installations in the region, he also urged the State and Federal Government to try and understand the needs of the people they are governing.
