I just got this fake NNPC recruitment letter today. I figured this lazy individuals would have sent this message to as many people as possible. Please do not fall victim. I have asked people I know working in nnpc and I was told nnpc DOES NOT do recruitment this way let alone tell anybody to send money. I know the power of Social media. I wish the people doing this can be caught using the name and bank account they dropped.


Am sorry I have to remove my name but here is the message I got via text message.

Miss ..................., After a well treatment with the Curriculum Vitae you submitted we are happy to tell you that you are among the shortlisted applicant, check your email for more details.
CONGRATULATIONS

Then they proceeded to sending me a mail.

RECRUITMENT FORM

You are qualified for the second process of the recruitment which
is the ***TRAINING which will commence on 15th August 2016 at the
N N P C Tower, Herbert Macaulay, Central Business District,
Central, Abuja,



Training starts by 8am on the 15th of August,
you are advised to be at the training center, (NNPC TOWER on 14th
of July) so, you can be punctual at the exact time, And make-sure you
come along with the below items on the training day:

NOTE: the training will be holding for a week, so you are hereby
advised to come with your luggage's, and after the training you will
be posted immediately to any of our NNPC office


1)A completed filled of recruitment form printout
2) your curriculum vitae
3) 8 photograph passport
4) A BANK TELLER OF #21,999 FOR Onshore & offshore/ training kits/materials
5) LOCAL GOVERNMENT OF ORIGIN
6) birth certificate

NOTE: The fee for the onshore & offshore #21,999 should be paid to the
account details below before the day of the training and come with the
teller of payment to the venue of the training

That was how one guy told me of internal recruitment in customs and brought a form for me.

I quickly googled and discovered to my chagrin that a statement about fraudsters issuing fake news about customs recruitment is ongoing!

I just ignored and used the form to wrap my weed!

FRAUD!!!

You don't need NNPC person to confirm that this is scam. Too many errors such as Completed filled document etc. If anyone fall for this then the person is a very big OTONDO.

I met a FACEBOOK user who claimed to be Ebele Jonathan, he said he wants to give me job with Customs, lo and behold, he gave a customs Comptroller named Jane and her number, I knew it was a scam but decided to play along. I called the lady, her grammatical expression was out of this world.
Our conversation.......

Me: calling Jane and phone is ringing
Comptroller Jane: Hello
Me: good morning ma
Comptroller Jane: how did you got my number?
Me: got your number? Well a guy named Ebele Jonathan asked me to contact you as regards the custom job.
Comproller Jane: are you sure you want this job?
Me: Yes ma
Comptroller Jane: ok. Do you have email address?
Me: Yes ma
Comptroller Jane: the form is N6,500 and you should send your name, address, DoB, height, state of origin and 1000 airtime of any network to me.
Me: N1000 airtime for what? You are fake!
Comptroller Jane: cuts the call
Then she called with a hidden number
Saying, I don't blame you, it is Ebele Jonathan that gave you my number and cut again.
Me: I dialled her other number again and told her I was sorry that I want her to send her office address and I will come to give her all she demanded for.
Comptroller Jane: ended call with a very loud hissing sound.

This guys are really sick. My bro received one from one Barrister Segun Favour (07012213764) in Lagos telling him he was offered a job in Dangote plc and to undergo a month training in Calabar beginning today but he has to pay accommodation fee of 5k before resumption of d training. The thief kept asking for d 5k almost on a daily basis, this guys re just so crazy.
