maybe you can try cocoa powder as a sub. since you can't find (   ) caramel coloring in your neck of the woods(USA ) |

Yeah. I am shocked too. I didn't see it at any of the stores. But its very popularly used in other sauces, KC Masterpiece, Coca Cola. Well anyways. Thanks guys. |

You can actually make Caramel colouring by followng these steps: 1. Put about 2 ounces of granulated white sugar in a dry saucepan over the burner. 2. Stir firmly while it turns brown and boils 3. As soon as it turns all liquid, take it from the burner and add about 100mls of room temprature water (CAREFULLY - IT MAY SPLASH!!) and stir quickly with a wooden spoon - that's your caramel colouring.
