If as you say it was a personal opinion why was your personal opinion not about "coercion or deception or fake miracle or wrong scriptural interpretation by someone to him" why was it specifically "fear" in a straight forward manner? You already assume that all of us who are believers, believed out of fear of hell so its only natrual for that to be your first spontaneous response.
