It has already been spelt out that the priesthood is only for unmarried men who are celibate. No man has ever been forced to be a priest. If a man knows that he can't live with that, he leaves and marries. It's not by force.

Also, the priest might be tempted to steal church funds to take care of his Family. Also taken into consideration is the posting of priests to different parishes. He can't be moving around with his family. All these will distract him.
