Do’s

1. Formal invite: ‘request the honor of your presence’
2. Casual invite: ‘request the pleasure of your presence’ or ‘invite you to share/join in the celebration’
3. Brides name always comes first before the groom
4. Reception details: ‘Reception follows at…’ or ‘Reception follows immedaitely’

Don’t
1. A picture of the couple on the invitation (so 1960)
2. Capital letters all through the description
3. The use of punctuation except for titles
4. Do not use abbreviation, for example Saturday instead of Sat
