They replied to mine. They said they have not released the name of awarded scholars and that when they do I would be notified

I do not know ooo, maybe u should ask them. I asked a dof scholar and was told they released the result, exactly one week to resumption. So are u going to pay your fees and go back to school 2mao?.

The person applied and got the scholarship, last year.

No, am still waiting at least for this week. Lectures have not started yet, according to the academic calender

So what if they dont send...iono, I hope they can refund, cuz am resuming...also, missing first week may not be the best idea. They do things like medical tests and submitting documents. Whenever u get there ull still hv to do it. It'll be pretty hectic

They have not replied to your mail, even now? They are usually fast with reply. Do u have an idea, how many applicants there are and how many ppl they are giving the scholarship to. It seems applicants are not much because it is like only u and i on this thread. I met another applicant returning student too.

They must have a good reason for this. Their work is quite commendable giving ppl the opportunity to go to school, tuition free.

From my findings they won't refund. Though I pray that changes this year. I hope they respond this week to applicants.

'Robbing peter to pay paul' is not exactly financial buoyancy... One still needs the scholarship. I pray they respond today at least for the sake of applicants that are freshers... The devil has really been busy.

I asked a dof scholar at school whose dad paid before the release of the results last year..she said it wasn't refunded... It just rolls over..they will pay that of the next session...like you said earlier their office at ota is the one place, one can be briefed fully on the reasons for the delay.. The email replies are just hints.

All of you guys going back to school today could help with that. Make sure you post their reply here. I could send you the particular address, if u want. Has this ever happened in the previous years?
