This is the odu Owonrin meji. It simply says look for what is neccessary but not available and provide it and you will prosper. That was the divination that led me to choosing a different approach to effect change in Nigeria. Everybody was abusing the political office holders as if they are not human beings! They heap all the blame on them but if since 1999, all the 774 LGs, 36 states and one country have had bad people as leaders, ministers, commisioners and all, then the fault is not with the actors. those are just normal people. If you believe that all of them are bad people, it means you believe Nigerians are inferior people to other humans and that is idiotic. You say that, then you are portraying yourself as an idiot to thinking observers like the CIA and etc. So I removed myself from all that and started using a new approach in line with the odu Owonrin meji.


It was the odu owonrin meji that the British followed that made them more successful than the Spanish and Portuguese before them who discovered the new world and controlled trade globally initially. Everything was divided between Portugal and Spain initially. They became stupendously rich but crashed all thesame because gold means nothing. It is intangible things that makes the difference. Things like innovation, efficiency and etc. So Spain was stupendously rich but the Spanish empire declined all thesame as they did not bring any new thing to the table. It was a socialist state. Very low efficiency and accountability. The crown controlled everything. So it crashed.


Owonrin meji and the British


The British invented a new way of pooling resources together which is 'corporations'. That was Owonrin meji in action. Look for what is essential and provide it. It revolutionised the economic space. Corporations were not owned by the British crown but by thousands of investors, managed by a board. It was a corporation that colonised India. The Royal Niger company in Nigeria was a corporation. In a corporation, you have to turn out profit for the investors or shareholders at all cost. You are not a King or Queen that can just sit idle believing they are not obliged to turn out a profit.


It was the profit oriented disposition of British corporations that led to the industrial revolution which changed the world. It is the most interesting example of Owonrin meji.


If not for the invention of corporations, I daresay the British would have ended up like the Spanish, Portuguese, Andalusia, Rome, Greece and etc in Europe before them.


So always study a situation very well to know what is needed for improvement, then provide that thing and there will be a sharp increase in prosperity.
