Definitely it's not easy to graduate from a uni, although years back when I did, it was effortless because I knew what I wanted, i had the passion, i went for it, i got it and have continued to excel. As for biochemistry, it's just as easy and difficult as any other course in the uni.

I can tell you because I have been there and seen it all.
