I've been having light in my area for 16hr everyday since one week!

Your 'area' must be located in planet Mars ! Let's face it bro- we all voted in this government but they are failing us at an alarming rate!

I don't enjoy stable electricity supply of 5 hours daily in my own area which is located inside Nigeria.

its been 2 weeks since we saw light in my street and i cant even afford to pay #150 for a litre of petrol to fuel my gen.

under GEJ, even foreign rice is just 8k talkless of local one
Oga look inward, even in the midst of scarcity people excel. Some people have bought houses today, some will tomorrow morning. What is your own excuse? Ohhh sorry buhari. If u can't afford to buy 1liter of fuel then Buhari is not your problem.

Started eating local rice since yesterday after spending more than two weeks convincing mum. Truth is it's a good replacement for the imported rice though the price is not encouraging. Tastes real good.
But we need deliverance in this country.
...Bag of rice >/= Minimum wage...
**smh**

yes is N8,000, but u don't want to know the amount Govt wast to subsidize for the rice u enjoy for 8k, now is an open market where everybody compete to sell their product and even Govt make money from the tax collected for the product, let's understand how Govt works pls....

This is news to me.
Do you mind explaining how our government was subsidising imported rice so we can buy it for N8,000?
Thanks.

Does this rice look i.e. With sand?
SubtleFRED:
Nice one. Atleast to help alleviate our sufferings a little but they should try bringing the price dowm a little.

BTW,i don't support any rice festival shit as it would create an avenue for the leaders to chop more

Will that same people in govt lead by example by eating the local rice with us?
for my own good, I cannot go on hunger strike cos I want to eat what people in govt are eating. society from america to Europe to Asia to Africa is never uniform and will never be. try to find a survival strategy where ever you find yourself.

keep deceiving uaself,ha mani ppl can afford 14k 4 local rice?

This is the problem when people like you can only see the present without understanding the process of change. If we had focused on local production over the years, would you be asking me this lame question?

When local production increases price will drop.

TeamSimple:

Can I ask you a question
Do you even know why we have increase in the price of commodities?

Does he know anything about economy?, they are claiming Jonathan made Nigeria economy the largest with crude oil windfall. I wonder why we call that largest economy by just selling crude oil a country that don't produce anything.

Selling crude at $100 to $140 free Oil money make us a largest economy with no survival resources.

oga pack from your area. in mkd its the direct opposite we see light at least 16hrs daily sometimes even 20hrs. precisely high level mkd. you can open a thread and take a census then you will realize your area is an isolated case.
