I learnt it uses the Windows RT OS which isn't as flexible as the normal Windows 8 or 10 OS and also lacks apps as well. That's why i asked.

As a matter of fact, it runs Windows 8.1 RT at the moment, and it has ALL the features of Windows 8.1 except that you can only install Apps from the Microsoft Store, exactly the way iOS Apps for iPads cannot work on Macs (Difference between a Tab and a PC) though they are both Apple Devices.

Now, there are so many Apps available for Windows 8.1 RT in the store, popular Apps. Also, one can jailbreak it to run native windows app. Cheers!
