Most of our pastors now prefer to read words of God from their smart phone and other devices instead of Holy book (bible), what's your take on this ? Is it right or wrong ? Can a demon be cast out with Ipad or tablet ?

good morning, now if you say it is wrong then reading from that bible you are holding or you think is right is also wrong because that was not the original bible structure, it has come to that small book that you can hold in one hand by the advancement of technology, I just hope you get what I mean. thank you.

Mosed had the first commandment on stone, read from stone. Some people wrote it on there walking staff. To remember and read, due to advancement in technology from Egypt, they had to start copying and writing the word of God on papyrus. In Jesus time it was the scroll an advances papyrus. As times went on it became paper or bible that u call it. Now technology has so advanced we have it on our tablets aka ipad. I will put it back to you, do you go to church to judge the Pastor? Or do u go to listen to the word of God?

I do think it is the word that matters. The world keeps evolving but the word remains the same. During the time of Moses, God gave Moses the Ten Commandments in in Tablets (carved rocks) because there was no scroll (or book). Later times when the world evolved further, the prophets recorded the word of God in Scrolls. We have evolved further and we are putting God's words in other form of communications. Tomorrow, the evolution will continue and who knows in what form God's words will be preached.
In my humble opinion, it is the words of God that matters.

Nothing changes, so nothing wrong! That the word of God is not in printed form doesn't change anything. Remember the bible was written in scrols before, its just technology advancement.

If Jesus came in the 21st century, the scriptures would most likely have been written in soft copies for easy dissemination. It's the spread of the word that matters not the platform used

Church sermon will be like..
Pastor: Brother Seun open to your ipad and read the book of exodus 14:15. The bible should not be substituted for any other device..

I think you need to change your religious mentality. The word of God has been preserved since ages till now by the author himself. Do you really think it is possible for the word of God to be wiped out.

Now concerning tablets and other devices, there are just another medium of preserving the word of God or are you implying that you don't read the word of God from your handy smart phone.

It is sad that religious mentality will hinder many people from entering into heaven.

I can bet that most people saying it is wrong to store d word or read the word from tablets and other devices don't even open the so called 'holy book'.

Is there any difference between you and the pharisees who value tradition more than human life or even God himself.

You might as well just go back to carrying scrolls and stones that they were originally written on.

The Bible is the word, not where it's written on.

Change is constant, the original bible wasn't paperback. Anyone one saying the Bible shouldn't move on to digital devices should also go back to the original version the Bible was written on. After all, God did not write the 10 commandments on paper.

How many of those pastors are spirit filled. The bible says" the spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God". Some of the so called pastors are paper weight pastors. Are u going to resist or cast out demons with laptop. When blind leads blind, both end up in the pit. We should not deceive ourselves with fake doctrines. Some of the pastors are not men of God. They are endtime Pastors.

the WORD is the spirit not the container

many of pauls writings were wriiten on what we eat today ie animal hide aka kpomo

in other words it doesnt mean where its read from

though i have smart phones etc, iam rather old school in thought and will stick to my old generation bible to avoid distractions in Gods presecnce
