roblance:
@Is2bEe what minimum amount do you think someone should have in his/her account for a 2years msc prog for visa stuff
It is more straightforward when you have sponsor(s) because CIC website actually requires you show evidence of your tuition for 1st year + 10,000CAD.

However, it gets more technical If you are self sponsor and going for a two year program. Then, it is adviceable you have balance in excess of two years tuition + 20,000CAD to cover your living expenses for the two years.

In all, you must be able to prove the source of your income.

Hope this answers your question

Please please some one should help ooooo

Good day all please I need your help. I was delayed last December for purpose of visit ,employment prospect in country of resident, this was be4 a friend introduced me to this forum . I graduated in 2014 and am 32 my U G is political science 3yrs and I specialised in international relations. For the past two years and presently am taking two part time jobs the first is am teaching English language in a French school and 2ndly I have part time job as a journalist. I decided to migrate through education. In my first app I applied for an U G in journalism, in my SOP I only talked of my passion and did not mentioned I was In the field , no proof of home ties , I even have a son of 14yrs and some landed properties but did not mentioned since I was ignorant. I only mentioned that i had thought but am no more teaching since i was afraid they will not give me visa if am working. OK my questions
1, with this situation can I still reapply without been
banned for miss representation?
2,if i can reapply, should I change the program to a post graduate in another discipline since I have only a three years U G which can't go with master's.
3, can i take a completely new program such as international development since I specialised in international relations UG, or I should look for something related to education which I indicated to VO is my work experience but did not proof it.
4, should I reapply with the same level UG in journalism or look for a program (pgd )that is related to journalism and present work experience?
Thanks in advance to every body who will reduce my worries.

Hello house, I have a few inquires with regards to trv application

1. With regards to proof of financial support, I see a lot of people claim to send various documents from their sponsors like soa, court affidavit, proof/statement of assets, etc. How exactly is that possible? In the CiC portal there's only one field to upload documents as proof of means of supports. Do you combine all these documents into one PDF with multiple pages or what?

2. With regards to medical, on the CiC portal there's a field called "Request For Medical Exam (required)" and it gives you an upload option. What exactly am I to upload there?
Also, if I did the upfront medical, how do I link it or inform CiC? Do I tell the hospital that it's for Canadian embassy? Will they send it immediately? And do I pay extra for them to send it?

3. With regards to passport/digital photographs, in the instructions for the format of passport, they said to sign behind the photo. Are you to scan and upload the back of the photo? That'd be weird.

4. With regards to biometrics, are you meant to do that in a special way or place? Or just at any cybercafe? Because I see a special fee for biometrics so I'm not sure.

5. Lastly I see a lot of people send documents like ielts, waec results, birth certificate, police report, transcripts etc. I don't see any field where you're given the option to upload that. So why and how do you send that?

And on a side note, what exactly could CiC want to do with your transcripts and waec result? Do they want to give me extra admission or scholarship?

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Nobody: 8:22pm On Feb 23, 2017
we all love canada but the factual truth is that we all are not meant for canada. From the recent development and to applicants who has 2.2 class of degree and some 2.1 class of degree may be advised to consider other countries for study destination. IRELAND (an english speaking country, currency(euro) and shares boundary with the U.K) to be precise recently introduced a 2 years postgraduate work permit to international students who studied a 1 year postgraduate program(masters) in their country and phd. it was 1yr pgwp before but earlier in this february it was revisited and extended to 2yrs.this recent development may now attract more international students to their country as of before.you are also entitled to work part-time and full time during vacation/holidays. I don't know yet of the graduate opportunities and PR requirement afterwards but i think it's also a country of choice for mostly 2.2 class of students that have lost hope in doing their masters and have been applying for PGC(D) in canada and getting refused for visa.

Who is also preparing towards Winter admission?
I want to apply for the winter admission. I would have saved some money and have enough time to prepare quality application profile.

I am very keen on getting funding since without funding, I am not sure I can be able to bear the costs.
Is it true that funding is not likely for winter semester admissions?

Profile:
Bsc Electronic/Electrical Engg 4.02/5.0
Experience: 3 years (Telecommunications)

Proposed Grad schools: University of Calgary, University of Manitoba and Univerisity of Sask

Hello peeps,

My wife submitted a study permit application on January 10, 2017 with upfront medical for summer admission but she got a response to submit a "non conditional letter of acceptance" within 5 working days to avoid been refused.

She swiftly contacted the school UWO to request for this but the school insisted they don't issue that until the conditions on the "conditional letter" are met viz: original transcript and a valid study permit and that the initial letter was prepared in conjuction with Cic and should suffice for granting a study permit. Transcript have since been processed.

Please gurus, advise on the next line of action. Thanks

I don't think the bolded is true, if a school has DLI number, there's no reason y CIC won't issue visa or pgwp. If you have the requirements for visa application you wud get it.
