Life is unfair and very cruel, I never understood the meaning of this phrase until my first love and marriage of 1 month ended as a fairy tale fantasy.

My world crumbled, I lost faith, I felt pained from my inside. Darkness engulfed me .. Nothing else mattered or had meaning to me. I attempted suicide. I even concluded in my heart that God does not exist, if he does he must be very wicked.

After dating my beloved wife of blessed memory for about 3years we had a befitting wedding. She is the description of a young woman endowed with beauty, brains and virtue.

1 month after our wedding I lost her... It's five month since the incidence. It's like a dream,I still can't believe wuraolami, Feyikemi, ayomide, teminikansoso as I fondly praise her. have finally bidded me farewell too soon...

How can I start allover again, how do I find another woman to replace her, she was humble, kind, understanding, loving and very patient. Am Guilty 'cause I never had the opportunity to help or rescue her after a brief illness.I've never been lonely and unhappy like this, this is the worst experience of my life. I hope to find meaning someday to the vanity in this life... Truely everything is vanity, vanity upon vanity as written in ecclessiastes!

Has anyone ever experienced this, I will be glad if you can share the consoling testimony of how you overcame the ordeal, pain, presure, depression, loneliness, every night wepping... I coudn't hold back the tears in my eyes as I shared this awful story of my life.

Thank you Yetseyi, very helpful however, I wished she lived a little longer with me to even have a kid... But my case was not so.

Wow. I'm so sorry man. What i've learned in my years alive(relatively young) is with time, you'll learn to cope with this better. With time, it'll be easier to want to get out of bed every morning, with time, you'll find happiness again. It'll just happen, you won't even be aware of it technically, but it'll just happen, you'll learn to live with this. With time. All i can tell you is to stay strong, cry when you can, socialise. It'll help.

Its indescribable ... But God knows best and God knows why it happened the way it did.
I know you are going through a lot of pain and hurt .. But be rest assured God does not sleep..Blaming God will only increase the hurt you are feeling. We are all like pencils in the hands of God.
When i lost my parents, and also lost my only brother through the jaws of death.. I felt it was over for me.. I felt whats the use living again.... It got a stage i had to go for counselling,cos if anyone ask me , hows yur brother? Especially neighbours on my street,cos hes a living and friendly guy.. I will smiles sadly and say hes fine.. He travelled.. I couldnt bear to say hes dead

Op, pls go through Serubawon's thread like people suggested.... you might think you don't have kids to live for like Serubawon but think of your loved ones, they are not happy with the fact that they can't help your situation. pull yourself out of the dark and gloomy room, live your life and be happy. Your late wife would want you to do that
