Upon the arrival of Chief Prof.wole soyinka for the eminent lecture series Titled "Culture at risk" the university (department of fine and applied arts) decided to display some of it's works

Where are the Benin Bronze heads?

I expect an Art department at Benin to be a centre for research into the world's famous Benin art and culture.

ok. that is it. though am a uniben staff i didn't attend the lecture at auditorium because i was very busy. i really missed that 2nd eminent lecture series delivered by soyinka. i got the email but too busy.

The bronze relics are in the oba of Benin 's palace and some at the national museum near ring road .
They are still a great centre for Benin art research.. Check the art campus..

PS.. Ignore the mad fella that detests anything Benin simply because he was dropped for continually failing his courses
