One of Jesus's core message is love, but most of the Christians I've encountered are the most homophobic ones, The question is if God created homosexual's and even made all mankind in his own image why do the religious hate homosexuals. Homosexuality is not a choice as research will tell you, its inborn just like being heterosexual. So did God make a mistake?

God made man in His image but after man fell that image was rendered unholy --- cursed by God. The only man who ever had the image of God was Adam --- no man after Adam had same.

God cursed the woman in childbearing is Genesis 3 vs 16 and as a result everyone born into this world is born broken in at least one way of another --- no one is born perfect from birth. Yes, God created the childbearing process but God also cursed the same. God didn't make a mistake at all.
