Protesters Storm UN Office In Abuja by temiloluwasam(m): 6:46pm On Sep 05, 2016
Some protesters on Monday, September 5, stormed the United Nations office in Abuja. The protesters under the aegis of ‎Center for Social Justice, Equity and Transparency (CESJET), a civil society organization said it was out to the Un of possible plans by Amnesty International to colonise Nigeria again. The group in their scores while delivering a petition to the UN said Nigeria can solve its problems. They also called on AI to leave the shores of Nigeria. One of the protesters said: “The Nigerian government is capable of solving its problems and cater for her citizens as already portrayed by the government of President Muhammuadu Buhari.” However, the leader of the group, Ikpa Isaac who is the executive secretary of CESJET said they are aware of numerous attempts by Amnesty International to rubbish and undermine the ongoing struggle by the president Muhammadu Buhari-led administration to maintain Nigeria’s unity. ‎ Isaac said while the west may have been of immense assistance in the ongoing battle against insurgency, it will also be instructive that they counsel any and all interested parties to avoid manipulations by enemies of successful battle against insurgency and militancy in Nigeria.‎

“‎We have watched for long a group of buccaneers try to usurp our hard earned independence through back hand tactics of arm twisting and blackmail using the international media,” Ikpa said

He also said: “These debauchers have employed the use of various groups including famed non-governmental organisation in their quest to control the state orchestrating sinister plots which in no doubt circumvent the integrity, sovereignty and authority of our constituted government.” The group reading out its petition said Nigerian government of today is capable of solving the problems of its people. “‎Nigerian government is capable to solve its problems and cater for her citizens as already portrayed by the government of President Muhammuadu Buhari. “Nigeria is an independent nation and its sovereignty is and should not be an issue of negotiation.‎ “The laws of our land remain supreme and no other entity, nation or self-styled human rights group including Amnesty International can dictate for our leaders. The petition by the protesters was further received by a team from the UN house.

Hey! APC don dey dig their grave ooooo. You people have gone to the extent of demonstrating against UN. This is serious. You think the western world is daft and would not see the voice of Jacob in this? The US congressman wrote a petition against your government and you have chosen to send their organs outside Nigeria. Small pikin and inexperience is actually the bane of APC.

Publicity stunt.

After 1 year or so, you'll hear "CESJET" was the first indigenous human rights body that carried out the massive 2016 protest against modern day colonization of Nigeria.

Nigerian could use some re-colonization cheesy
Just look at Nigeria, 60 years + and we are still trying to solve our own problems.
And we are not yet even close to solving our own problems, in fact we are our own problem.
The truth is bitter but that's the truth.

South Africa stayed longer with their colonial masters and even though it was rough, they got things right to some extent after the masters left them.

What ever sha, sai Baba cry
