The Executive Chairman ,
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,
Nigeria.

Dear Sir,

I bring to the notice of your good commission irregularities and fraud taking place in a Federal Government Initiative that is being converted to private and selfish initiative.

There is a program being organized by the Nigerian Export Counsil and Style houses Files, its a federal government sponsored program . It is aimed at empowering Nigerians to go into clothes production ( garment construction and pattern drafting)f for both local consumption and export.

The program is to train Nigerians on how to make clothes. The program takes place in the Premises of The Nigerian Exports Council in Apapa.

Nigerians will be amazed by the level of investment the Federal Government has put in place for this empowerment program. Very large number of sewing machines, button fixing machines, weaving machines and so many other machines.

The government makes sure the instructors are foreigners so they can pass/share most adequate knowledge to Nigerians partaking in this program.

This program has been on-going for a while with very low publicity to the general public so that only a few Nigerians in-charge can corner this very good initiative to themselves.

By saying cornering this initiative I mean this bunch of people in-charge in collaboration with some staff of the Nigerian Exports council have their own clothes making factories.
They use this government initiative to train only a few people with low educational backgrounds that will subsequently work in their factories. As such they turn down graduates who are interested in this program. There are only few graduates currently undergoing the traiñing now due to the fear of going to work in Mrs Aromolaran's factory.

Mrs Aromolaran is the owner of Crown natures, situated in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos. She runs this government initiative like her personal business. She has become very skeptical of this present set of trainees because they are mostly graduates. They are not willing to work for her in her factory in anyway.

Since she realized this set are not willing to work for her, she has instructed the instructors not to give so much information, reduce the quality of the training and subsequently stop the training. The trainees were initially given clothing materials to practice whatever they are being taught but later instructed them to stop giving out the materials.
Right now the training has been put on hold!

Please let your good Commission investigate this irregularity and corrupt practises taking place in that program. As we engage in fight against corruption that has bedevilled our dear nation for decades let us fight against this.

Let this initiative carry out the function it is designed for and let Nigerians utilize this opportunity to develop themselves and our economy at large.

Thanking you in anticipation of your prompt action.

-A concerned Citizen.
