Beyond this show, the most important thing they should do is make Igbo language a compulsory subject in school. Ohaneze should make Igbo language a priority subject in school and let our schools require ''credit'' in Igbo language and a ''pass'' in English.

You know what would happen? Every student would still study English, but the purpose of making Igbo a priority would be achieved.

First of all, most igbo people do not pay tax, 95% of them are tax evaders yet they end up making Money frm d west.

Second of all, What tax does it take to live in yorubaland that you won't pay for living in ur own region? all d tax goes to Nigerian politician's pockets at d end though. For this u should stop being "OSU"
kernel504:

Don't be a fool. How are you accommodating them? Are they not paying tax, rent and utility bills, what help have Yorubas offered them?
Accomodate a dog for three days, they will remember you for three years. Accomodate an i*bo for three years they will forget you in three days and call your house and land a "No man's house and a no man's land"

God bless the yorubas.

Don't be silly, Osun is in Nigeria. Anybody who is a productive citizen should be able to live anywhere. Besides, you are not at liberty to discriminate against people anyway, it's not your right.

Forget all that even, the only way to make Igbo relevant is to make it a language of instruction. Teach children maths in Igbo, would most Igbo people agree to this? In that answer lies the relevance of the Igbo language.

If they need to be thankful, why are you fighting hard to keep them in Nigeria.

It looks like you should be thankful that they are still in Nigeria for now.

Why should we? We stay in our land to develop our place for ourselves and by ourselves unlike some people who will 'develop' other people's place with fanyogo, gala, d.rug.s, handkerchiefs yet their land will remain like poo as the attached:
