Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have dominated the world football in the last eight years, winning many individual awards as well as club trophies but are they among the most decorated active players.

The Portuguese star was left out of the list of the 10 most decorated active players in Europe despite the fact that he has helped his Real Madrid side to win their 11th Champions League title last season.

Meanwhile, Barcelona’s five times FIFA World Player of the Year and his team mates dominate the top 10 after a trophy-laden spell in their history.
