When you talk of poetic Glamour and Spontaneity, then Babangida is called to the Podium. Though babangida is a hausa fulani northerner who for the best part of his life was brought up in Kano State, his enthralling hubbies are poetry, intellectual findings, traveling, adventures, philosophical teensy and discovery.

Yakubu is currently a Major on the Nigerian Army. He is in his mid-30s and happily married. It is interesting to know that Babangida discovered his gift for writing at age seven when he wrote his first poem titled "HALF MAN HALF SPIRIT".

 

HE has ever since been writing, both picture poetry, spoken poetry and writing poetry. Other of his write-ups are articles, inspirations write-ups and short quotes.

 

He was in 2004 a world class award winner for a poem titled " THE ORACLE". Time and the nature of his job has not availed him the privilege to showcase most of his works. However the writer has plans to make out time to publish a book which will soon be made available in due course.

MIDDLE EAST MIDDLE DAWN
 
Middle east middle dawn
Middle age middle time
Middle man seeks the audience of middle gods
For middle beings now wander about middle earth to find the middle power long lost to middle mortals
 
Sophisticated soliloquies soliloquizes the symbolic semblance of sensational sanity streaming through sceneries of selective sorority
 
Indeed integrity identifies individuals integrated with intensive ideological inscriptions of ideal intelligence
 
Why would one wallow away in wishful waters when wandering wills one's will to wonder endlessly in search of whispering wonders
 
Middle east middle dawn
Middle age middle time
Middle man seeks the audience of middle gods
In search of the casket of ancient wonders.
