DSTV Nigeria only has about 1.5 million subscribers even as it conceded to a PwC report that Nigeria's payTV household is expected to reach 3.2 million by 2019. The data was revealed a special meeting organised by DSTV, Africa's largest payTV company gathered managing directors of media and advertising agencies to share its. In its notes to invited agency chiefs, DSTV said its total subscriber base in Africa is about 10,4 million across 50 African states. The company did not provide breakdown by countries. They are worth it. Their services are world-class. Way better than the UK's Sky TV. The only problem is they have no strong Nigerian competition so they can treat consumers any way they feel. |
