This is according to an eye witness account. Aero staffs were seen protesting over non payment of salaries for over 6 months and also they were been suspended by the company. The workers storm their premises and stopped any plane from taking off. See more pictures below..

With the current fragile security in the country and the world at large, ugly situation as this should not be allowed to happen in our airports. Terrorists could seize the opportunity to launch a preemptive strike and beside this is sending a very wrong signal to the international community.

These workers should hijack three or four planes and sell them, use the proceeds to settle themselves and return whatever remains to the airline.

NOW TO THE TOPIC AT HAND, WHY ARE NIGERIAN BUSINESS MEN LIKE THIS? HOW DO YOU GET TO SLEEP EVERY NIGHT KNOWING YOU ARE OWING WORKERS 1, 2,3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 MONTHS SALARY? YET THESE SAME MEN AND WOMEN WILL AIRLIFT HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE TO DUBAI AND FRANCE TO GO AND DO WEDDING FOR THEIR CHILDREN.



IF BUSINESSES AREN'T COMING IN AS USUAL, YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO EITHER DOWNSIZE OR GO FOR SALARY CUT.

NEVER DEPRIVE A MAN HIS WAGES AFTER HE HAS DONE HIS WORK. IT BRING CURSE UPON THE BUSINESS AND BUSINESS MAN AND HIS FAMILY.

Same problem with my company here in warri. 5 months no salary, 80% staff dropped with ridiculous "payoff" package being worked out. All personnels both the sacked and retained have been withdrawn from the rig and cheap labour is being used to run the jobs.union is right now picketing the company and there's so much hunger and confusion amongst staff. Buhari is not a sensitive leader. He has inflicted our land with hardship... It's a pity
