Good evening nairalanders I work with kids thou it's a part time job,.. To cut short the long story..i had an incident with one of the children I teach and her little brother of 6 was there with me..i never knew he told his mum So the next day she brought them to school and started warning me"i was shocked thinking of what I did"and she refused to tell me what I did..i stopped greeting her since that day until today I and her had a disagreement so I argued and talk back at her cos she was very rude to me... The HM called I and her into her office and allowed the woman explain her own part and didn't even bother to hear mine,the next thing I felt a sting on my cheeks(The hm slaped me)i was so embarrassed to the extent that I cried for two hours I got home and told my friend about it so she said she will helped me arrange some guys to beat her up but am scared,i don't want to hurt her but my heart needs revenge Shld I forget about or revenge? But I don't blame her i blame death... 1 Like 4 Shares |

You should have known that the mother of the child was warning you because of the incident you had with her child, what you should have done is to keep apologising no matter what rather you decided to keep malice with the mother of a child you teach at school. That's bad of you... ***modified*** I'm sorry OP for judging you, maybe your HM shouldn't have slapped you. You mentioned incident but cautiously excluded what happened probably because you know you where wrong. Even from your narration.... Its obvious you excluded some important details.... Assuming this story is not fake because I don't trust tales posted on this forum. You should save up enough money to last you at least six months, dress up for work tomorrow, go to your place of work, head to your desk and then empty it of all personal belongings. Head back home and you're good -- you've automatically fired yourself from the job; can't stay working for/under someone who doesn't respect you as a human being. Start filling applications for your next job offer. If your former employer has shame they wouldn't bother trying to contact you because they know all effort to bring you back would prove futile. 30 Likes 1 Share |

Well ur story is biased ....... What is d incident u had with d child?? ....... Let's assume its not worth shouting for buh d child's parents came n decide to show her shouting skills ....... one thing u wud av done is to report d matter to d HM unless u knew what u did was wrong...... On d other hand d HM has no right whatsoever to slap u ..... if it were a civilized country I wud av asked u to sue him bug as it is Nigeria d best thing to do was give d HM a heavier SLAP and sack urself ....because am sure d HM will slap u again if anoda case arises cos u failed to react to dis one!!!!!! I faced dis kind of scenario at a school I taught years back before I went to University ...... The HM insulted me cos the parents of a child complained I chastised her child for not doing her assignment ....... after she finished I just smiled n went out of her office but I washed my hands off d case of d child ........ during open day the girls father came n started checking d child books ..... at a time he asked me if I don't give his child assignment n I told him I use to give d child assignment but she does not do it n d mother n propietress says I should leave her ........ The anger of the man was too much that he went to d office of d proprietress n insulted her profusely ....the MUMU woman was just saying sorry sir ..... I stood at d back of d man n started laughing silently at her ...... When she saw me it was as if let d ground open n swallow her!!!!
