I am not being pessimistic or negative, but I think any organic (broiler) management without allowing the birds to scavenge and move about in the open is fatal. There are natural ingredients present in the soil, insects and plants (grasses) they feed on, which prevents deadly poultry diseases. Diseases are easily generated and quickly spread when birds, esp broilers are secludedly confined to a building space. Hence, the heavy drug and vaccine administration that accompanies such poultry management/breeding/rearing. Just my opinion though.

Since I retired the lantern, surprisingly the chicks continues to grow stronger everyday without heat.

I got one weighting 113g already, his colleague looking up to see if he can have a go on my weighing machine too lol. Chicken are pretty intelligent.

Guess what got them very active. ..some worms from my vermiculture worked them real hard.

Now I introduced ginger garlic plus farmers fertilizer (sea weeds)
