Please help me with this issue. Only the drive button that is working. It doesn't engage in reverse and most times the park too is not workings well, I had to use block to shock the tyres this night.

Can the guru help me out on this issue. It's just 6months old and haven't been using it regularly.

Seems like your inhibitor switch is bad (transmission range sensor), have you tried running a scan?

Haven't done any scan. Just want to have ideas before mechanics start with their guess work. I will go for the scanning anyway.

Problem is not the inhibitor switch (reverse would have worked). The Gear selector cable is out of alignment. Any good technician can put it in place easily.
