Nice one Fly Boys. Waiting for the usual militant spokespersons to flood the thread in defense of criminals.

Those militants have just caused more trouble for illegal oil refiners in the creeks. Instead laying low and enjoying their illegal activities in d shadows without much scrutiny from the government, they drew attention to themselves by destroying pipelines. Now the government is out to prove who's boss. They are now destroying any means through which the militants could be getting their funding. And they are doing so with fiery vengeance.

Nice one.

Just to show that if a war broke out, no group or individuals can defeat a federal might

Go to Syria and ask the rebels.

What I don't understand is how two or three uneducated and village boys can refine oil in the bush but the federal government with all its might and power CAN'T refine same oil for the citizens of Nigeria. Even the Biafra during that unfortunate war with Nigeria, refined both aviation and domestic oil in the bush. Is Nigeria cursed with bad leadership or what?

I am against illegal activities but this might just be ethnic cleansing.

Otherwise same force should have been used on fulani herdsmen

You can't be happy when Militants bomb our pipelines and turn around to insult people and complain why we are not developing

Are you high?

I see this opinion expressed all too often, and it's hilarious.

There's is a difference between small scale, highly inefficient and highly pollutive refining and large scale, environmentally friendly and modern refining.

This is like asking why Nigeria cannot put an astronaut on the moon because people make 'rocket' fireworks in Aba.

Sometimes it is better to keep quiet and let others assume your silence masks great wisdom, than to talk and say something as crazy as this.

Do you even know what 'Ethnic cleansing' is?

An armed, dangerous cartel is stealing oil and gas resources that belongs to Nigeria and should belong to your children (and also devastating the environment in the Niger Delta)...and you're resisting Govt attempts to deal with them. Incredible

Intelligence isn't one of ur attributes, is it?
With every passing comment u betray urself to be an odious buffoon. And that's the problem with senseless people; they usually don't know when to stop.
U and every member of ur family should join the militants first. Get off the internet u senseless dolt. Do something real to support ur cause like arming urself and ur family members and going to the trenches first. After that u can invite me to fight opposite u.
Too many halfwits on nairaland.
